FAQ

Questions,
answered honestly.

Are SNAP strings beginner-friendly?
Co-poly isn't the best starter string for absolute beginners — it's stiff and unforgiving on the arm if you have no technique yet. If you're a 3.0+ player, sure. If you're brand new to tennis, start with a synthetic gut and graduate to SNAP Soft when you start swinging out.
What gauge are SNAP strings?
All three are 1.25mm (16L gauge). It's the sweet spot for spin, durability, and feel for most adult players. We may add 1.20mm and 1.30mm later — sign up for the newsletter to be notified.
How long does a set last?
Depends on how hard you hit and how often you play. A 4.0 player hitting 3x a week can expect 15–25 hours of playable life out of SNAP Spin before tension drop makes it feel dead. SNAP Control and Soft last a bit longer.
Can I use SNAP in a hybrid setup?
Yes. SNAP Spin in the mains paired with a multifilament or gut in the crosses is a popular setup. See the stringing guide for details.
Do you sell reels?
Reels are coming soon. For now we sell single sets. If you want to be first in line for reels, drop your email in the newsletter on the home page.
Why don't you have any pro endorsements?
Because we'd rather spend that money on R&D and shipping than on a pro's hitting partner who actually strings their racquet. If a pro picks up SNAP on their own, great. We're not paying for it.
Where can I find your reviews?
Reviews live on each product page. We don't post fake reviews and we don't pay for them.
